The owner’s request of resort style living has been met conclusively in the design and construction of this new home.
It’s entry courtyard complete with 3.6 metre ceilings stone pillars and pond certainly makes a bold first impression. Separate wings divide the four bedrooms, two of which enjoy and outlook on to the courtyard the main sharing it with the lounge room.
Beyond the entry a large almost sliding wall retracts to expose the main living area. High level louvered windows protected by remote external shutters allow the benefit of both access to the northern winter sun and cross ventilation. The well appointed kitchen complete with butler’s pantry overlooks the existing swimming pool and garden that this year round entertainer was designed and built around.
The relationship between the indoor and outdoor areas balance beautifully through the use of bifolding doors. A large alfresco space with kitchen as well as a separate cabana boasting a bar and timber cathedral ceiling feed seamlessly onto the fully tiled pool deck all serviced by an outdoor bathroom.
